Notice of ONCA Town Hall Information Sessions
As outlined in The Tattler and President's Letter, Shareholder Members are invited to attend Town Hall Information Sessions regarding the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (ONCA) and the associated updates to BGCC’s by-laws and governance.
Town Hall Session Dates:
- Thursday, September 11 at 7:00 PM
- Tuesday, September 16 at 7:00 PM
Following these sessions, a Membership Vote will be held on Wednesday, October 1 (time to be confirmed). Additional details will be communicated in upcoming editions of The 422 and Board Bytes.

Weekend Cross-overs
We have removed the Weekend Cross-overs from the tee sheet starting Saturday, September 6. The four tee times that were scheduled off the 12th tee between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM will be removed and seven tee times will be added between 9:30 AM - 10:20 AM. This will allow for more Members to tee-off on weekend mornings and allow the Turf Department to prepare the Golf Course for the day in the most daylight possible.
It should be noted Guest Play will still be available after 11:00 AM.

Our last 9&Dine sold out quickly! Don’t miss your chance to join the next one, scheduled for Saturday, September 20, with tee times between 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a great afternoon of golf followed by a relaxed evening at the Club.

County Fair on the Patio!

Men’s Member-Guest is now the Bayside Invitational
The 18Hole Member Guest has been rebranded to the Bayside Invitational to celebrate Burlington’s relationship with Hamilton Harbour since 1922.

- The entry fee for the Bayside Invitational will be approximately $500/team including taxes and gratuities. Please note all beverages will be billed by chit.
As a reminder, all Guests are required to have a Golf Canada handicap along with Members maintaining a 90% handicap posting to be eligible for the event. A $100 non-refundable deposit will be processed on Tuesday, September 2.

Robert Johnston Trophy
The Robert Johnston Trophy, contested on Tuesday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 26, was a success once again. It is hard to believe this event is over a century old!

Junior Golf League Play is almost finished!
Be sure to come out and support your Team! Thanks to all the Juniors who came for Junior Closing Day. It was a great day at Burlington. A special thanks to Taylor Elsley who led the Junior Program at Burlington this summer!
